Senior Consultant of Business Transformation

This is a strategic hire to help us grow one of our key markets. We’re looking for a seasoned consultant who has hands-on experience helping clients envision, plan, and deliver technology‑centric business transformation—and who will wear two hats:
Boots‑on‑the‑ground delivery: solve complex client problems, lead workstreams, and create tangible outcomes
Firm‑builder: help us refine offerings, strengthen our brand and community presence, mentor teammates, and contribute thought leadership
What you’ll do
Deliver for clients
Lead or contribute to engagements such as:
Discovery & Visioning and Business Transformation Roadmaps — defining a compelling technology strategy and actionable plan to advance client organizations to their desired state
IT Modernization Roadmaps & Planning — developing a custom plan to modernize technology platforms and streamline processes
AI Strategy & Enablement — helping clients navigate the evolving AI landscape, identify practical use cases, and build readiness for responsible adoption
Product Management and Large‑Scale Program Management — understanding what stakeholders need (and why!), then delivering a solution that truly meets their needs
Change Management & User Adoption — equipping program and team leaders to excel through transformative change
Vendor/Partner Selection and Post‑Merger Integration — working with clients to understand what matters most and then help them reliably achieve it
You’ll be expected to turn chaos and confusion into clarity and alignment, build trust across stakeholders, and communicate crisply with executives and delivery teams.
Build and grow FlexPoint
Practice development: refine playbooks, frameworks, and templates; share knowledge generously; provide actionable feedback that makes teammates better
Thought leadership: contribute posts, talks, and client‑ready artifacts that showcase our pragmatic POV on transformation, modernization, and AI
Community & brand: represent FlexPoint with humility and energy in Twin Cities client communities and professional networks
Talent & culture: help recruit, coach, and grow a high‑trust, high‑performance team that’s welcoming and inclusive
What you’ll bring
Must‑have experience
8+ years delivering reliable results in consulting or similar client services, with several years focused on business transformation (strategy → plan → delivery)
Proven ability to lead workstreams in areas like program management, product management, change management, platform modernization, AI strategy, and analytics/insights
Master‑level communication: clear, structured, audience‑aware, and able to make complex topics understandable for executives and practitioners alike

Nice-to-have
Experience shaping AI roadmaps, evaluating emerging tools, and guiding clients through adoption strategies
Prior exposure to M&A integration, project-to-product transition, and/or large-scale program delivery
Thought leadership examples (blogs, talks, frameworks) in your portfolio—especially on modernization, AI, or customer/employee experience
Location, travel, and work authorization
Primary location: Minneapolis–St. Paul
Work model: Hybrid, remote‑first — you’ll work primarily from home, with time at client offices as needed for collaboration and delivery. Occasional U.S. travel may be required.
Work authorization: authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.
