Community Investment

Non-profit organizations serve our communities, sustain our neighborhoods, and help us define a better tomorrow. In recognition of this critical role, we want to do our part in making strategic consulting accessible to non-profit organizations.

Enter: FlexPoint Community Investment, offering three unique ways for non-profit and community organizations to engage with us, totally free of charge.

Strategic Advisory

Schedule up to two hours per month of pro bono strategic advisory sessions with a FlexPoint leader. Ask as many questions as you’d like, bring a specific challenge to work through, or talk to us about how we’ve handled a similar project in the past (anonymously, of course!).

The not-so-fine print: for each non-profit organization that expresses interest, we will provide up to two hours per calendar month of strategic advisory consulting free of charge.

Set up time with Kim Ehrman, our strategy and visioning lead, using the scheduling link below. She’ll make sure we understand what support you’re seeking and match you to a FlexPoint leader with relevant expertise.

Strategic Planning Workshop

Apply for one of our four free strategic planning workshops per calendar year. We’ll work with you to gather inputs before the workshop, facilitate two half-day sessions, and share key outputs within a week of the workshop. This is a great enabler for a board planning session. (See our IT strategy workshop offering for a specific example, but don’t feel limited by the subject area.)

The not-so-fine print: we offer four free strategic planning workshops each calendar year to non-profit organizations, with rolling acceptance. This includes prep, two half-day workshops (on site within the continental United States or remote), and key output delivery.

Flexible Project Work

Request a pro bono project within any of our core service offerings — with the understanding that the effort will be completed as our consultants have availability. We’ll be transparent with you on timing expectations, and we may work with you to break the effort into pieces that can be accomplished more quickly.

The not-so-fine print: we offer pro bono transformation consulting project work, with the team and delivery timeline to be determined by FlexPoint. These projects must be within our defined service offering, have a clear sponsor within the non-profit organization, and be approved by FlexPoint leadership.

To discuss questions, or to work through next steps on any of these options, please set up time with Kim:

“Our team worked with FlexPoint to find a software solution for our expense and revenue tracking system. FlexPoint's team helped survey the landscape of software, identified what features were must-haves for our work, and ensured we had the knowledge to set up our chosen solution.

As a small nonprofit, FlexPoint's wealth of knowledge and guidance was critical in making this project possible. We are so grateful for their support and partnership.”
