Opening
Kim Ehrman: Welcome to Inflect, a podcast about navigating the critical inflection points of business and life.
In this mini episode, we have a special announcement about an inflection point within our firm.
I’m Kim Ehrman, Director of Business Transformation, and today we’re announcing the FlexPoint Community Investment program.
As we approach FlexPoint Consulting’s second anniversary, we’ve been discussing how we can make strategic consulting more accessible to non-profit organizations in a sustainable, structured way. Each of us on the team contributes to our communities, but we were looking for a company-wide investment that’s in line with our core competencies… while working around our everyday client commitments.
I’m excited to introduce FlexPoint Community Investment, offering three unique ways for non-profit and community organizations to engage with us, totally free of charge.
FlexPoint Community Investment
First: Strategic Advisory. Schedule up to two hours per month of pro bono strategic advisory sessions with a FlexPoint leader. Ask as many questions as you’d like, bring a specific challenge to work through, or talk to us about how we’ve handled a similar project in the past (anonymously, of course!).
Second: Strategic Planning Workshops. Apply for one of our four free strategic planning workshops per year. We’ll work with you to gather inputs before the workshop, facilitate two half-day sessions, and share key outputs within a week of the workshop. This is a great enabler for a board planning session.
Third: Flexible Project Work. Request a pro bono project within any of our core service offerings — with the expectation that the effort will be completed as our consultants have availability. We’ll be transparent with you on timing expectations, and we may work with you to break the effort into pieces that can be accomplished more quickly.
Closing
Non-profit organizations serve our communities, sustain our neighborhoods, and help us define a better tomorrow. We’re excited to come alongside community organizations and support their immediate and long-term success with strategic management consulting.
If this is of interest to a community organization you’re involved with, please see our Community Investment page to set up a discussion with me or to submit an application. Thank you.
