Been There, Done That Advisory
Get perspective from an experienced executive who has been in your seat before
Driver
Sometimes the best support isn’t a consultant. It’s someone to walk alongside you and give perspective based on truly relevant experience. Someone who’s been in your seat before, who’s worked through the challenges and come out the other side with successes (among the war stories).
Outcome
We call this Been There, Done That advisory. It’s not a consulting project, and there’s no pressure to sign up to work with the rest of our team.
It’s regular coaching sessions with a senior executive in a season of their career where they want to give back.
Approach
What does this look like? After an introductory call to set goals and expectations, you’ll schedule recurring time with the leader who’s most relevant to your role, challenges, and opportunities.
This isn’t coaching in the strictest sense. Certified coaches have gone through training, structured practice, and observation to help you navigate whatever is in front of you.
Rather, consider Been There, Done That advisory to be time with an unbiased executive who will share their perspective and expertise as is helpful to you.

Several senior executives are excited to give back to the business community by providing these expert coaching sessions.
IT Leadership: Maybe you’re in the thick of system integrator struggles. You can bet that our long-time CIO across working across a variety of industries has worked through a similar challenge and can share thoughts.
Organizational Design: Perhaps you know you need to make some team structure changes but you’re just not sure how best to proceed. Our organizational design and development expert has tackled situations like this many times and can help you navigate with confidence.
Non-Profit Leadership: Maybe your non-profit organization is wrestling with where to place bets over the next three years, while navigating significant changes in giving profiles. Our non-profit executive director has encountered these and many other challenges over decades of service and can act as a well-informed sounding board.
You get the idea. These leaders have been there and done that — and they’re willing to share their expertise.
Sessions are confidential by default.
Your coach won’t share with the rest of the FlexPoint team unless the two of you discuss it specifically. (Like: you may mention a specific instance that another FlexPoint team member has come across. Your coach will flag that as an opportunity to have a one-off conversation with the other team members, or they can bring back thoughts to your next session.)
In short: the full FlexPoint team is here to equip you, but only at your direction.
Sounds Great, but What’s the Catch?
